ICTV proudly presents our Ithaca College Bombers Football team's 1999 home games. The remote coverage of Bombers Football has been in existence for over twenty years, and every year it gets better Last year we acquired a microwave video transmitter for use on our high angle platform camera which is positioned in the back of an end zone. We also added two DVC-PRO decks for slow motion replay. This year we had DVCAM decks installed to record the production.
This year we are producing the pre-game show in the studio. Our pre-game show consists of analysis of the Bombers and their opponent. We have extensive video and graphics breaking down particular players and games.
Once at the field we have thorough sideline reports and at half-time we analyze statistics and review pivotal plays from the 1st half. This season we are running a special series of packages during half-time reflecting the memorable moments in Ithaca College football from the last decade. At the end of the game we interview both players and coaches, recap the scoring, and analyze any specific plays from the second half. Once we start rolling tape at kickoff we don't stop until we say goodnight.
We have five cameras: three high angle, one hand-held, and a low angle positioned at midfield. We use three shot-gun microphones, a wireless referee microphone, and a wireless parabolic dish to pick up the natural sound from the game. In the booth we have two statisticians: one feeds updated statistics to the talent and the other sends information back to the truck.
